The biggest e-mobility rally in the world was a guest at Schunk: At the end of September, around 60 electric vehicles made a stopover at Schunk Carbon Technology in Bad Goisern. There, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the company's products in an exhibition and a plant tour.
A presentation by Automotive Manager Hans Höll and, in particular, the promising innovation of automated contact charging via an underfloor solution, which enables battery charging for a range of approx. 500 km in five minutes, raised a great deal of interest in the exhibition. Numerous locals accepted the invitation and were pleased with the successful event.
In the Wave Trophy at the end of September, the participants drove electrically powered vehicles – cars and motorcycles – throughout all of Austria. They thereby drew attention to this eco-friendly way of getting around and also showed that e-mobility is a lot of fun.
