With the forward-looking Schunk Smart Charging system, we push the boundaries of electric mobility: The system allows electric bus batteries to be reliably charged in a matter of seconds, during the daily rotations, or in a depot.
We offer two solutions for supplying power: Today, the roof-mounted collector is the leading and most developed technology in local public transportation with battery-operated electric buses. Our integrated collectors are contrastingly embedded in stationary charging infrastructures. The contact system has an open interface which is compatible with existing systems on the bus’s roof, and is easily adaptable. The line of systems allows transportation companies to optimally adapt the charging strategy to their infrastructure.
