The winner of the first Schunk Innovation Award in 2014 was the Smart Charging roof-mounted pantograph. The Schunk Bahn- und Industrietechnik GmbH will now deliver the 1,000th roof-mounted pantograph for electric buses in 2019 and celebrate its first small anniversary.
"This is only the first step in the development of this new business segment," says Paulo Santos, Managing Director of Schunk Bahn- und Industrietechnik. "We hope to achieve even more milestones with this innovation in the coming years - but also with new innovations such as the Underbody Charger solution, the Innovation Award winner from 2018".
